Acute appendicitis refers to the severe inflammation of appendix. Acute appendicitis is a serious disease. Acute appendicitis differs from chronic appendicitis in many ways. It affects nearly seven percent of world populations. It can come to anyone between the ages of 10 to 30 at any time. It has been estimated that 5 % percent of the abdominal pain are due to the acute appendicitis. Acute appendicitis is not so dangerous because of the appendix malfunctioning, at least initially. A person can lead a healthy life after removing the useless organ. But it is very difficult to diagnose the disease. Main problem in this disease is appendix bursts due to the disease getting worse this happens when all the harmful substances enter into the abdominal cavity .Acute appendicitis is caused when there is blockage in the appendix and it also leads to death.

Symptoms of Acute appendicitis during early stages are abdominal pain near navel. Late stage symptoms are right side abdominal pain and pain while breathing. Vomiting, nausea, loss of appetite, diarrhea, low fever, bad breath, abdominal swelling
, inabilities to pass gas are some common symptoms of acute appendicitis. Acute Appendicitis symptoms usually refers to various symptoms known to a patient, but the phrase Acute Appendicitis signs may refer to those signs only noticeable by a doctor. Sufferer will have to undergo surgery to get their appendix removed is the treatment for the disease. During this process patient have to undergo a lot of pain even though drugs given to ease the discomfort.
