The symptoms of chronic appendicitis are the symptoms similar to acute appendicitis but it is very milder when compared to acute appendicitis such symptom include nausea, vomiting, fever, stomach pain. This is mainly due to the inflamed appendix which may be blocked from pus, infection or even fecal matter. Inflammation is milder for the person who is affected with chronic appendicitis. So, chronic appendicitis should be treated before it starts spreading.
Treatment for chronic appendicitis usually doesn’t involve surgical removing of appendix like acute appendicitis. Usually heavy dose of antibiotics is given to the patients to fight against the infection. Even some of the powerful antibiotics cannot treat the disease since the chronic appendicitis is very tough to treat. Patients suffering from chronic appendicitis may have to take the drugs over time to help beat their disease. There is a threat that the chronic appendicitis treatment involves bursting of appendix but it is not so doctors will have prescribed options. Chronic appendicitis is unable to prevent but can be controlled and primarily treated before it gets into acute appendicitis.
