The appendix is a vestigial organ present in human being which officially doesn’t have any use. Appendicitis is a disease occurs due to the inflammation of appendix. It usually occurs between 10 to 30 ages and can come at any time. As far as symptoms are concerned it varies between individuals .Appendicitis is characterized by abdominal pain which is a common symptom. Some common symptoms are constipation, back pain, a slight fever, or a swollen abdomen. Pain in belly region is very common. Severe pain in belly and abdominal region while walking and moving is also common. Appendicitis is a severe illness and also fatal. Early symptoms of this disease are pain in intestinal area and colon. It is very difficult to identify area of pain. Pain is slight during early period and it becomes poorly localized.


As inflammation of appendix increases from outer region to the inner region which is thin layered called peritoneum once it get affected pain is severe and is confined to one small place. Muscles present in the abdomen become very tight which also causes pain. Symptoms of Appendicitis also include nausea and vomiting. Affected person don’t like to eat food. Loss of weight can be seen after 4- 48 hours of inflammation. Coughing and sneezing increases the pain .Mild fever varying from 100° to 102°f may occur. Most common symptoms are the mixture of all the symptoms. Children often have fewer symptoms, which makes their diagnosis easy and obvious.
